Interesting site. I'll go through it on Thursday morning and evaluate what's there. Just out of curiosity, Mr. Johnson, how did you find my site?

Thanks much!

Scott - I'd suggest TeamSupport.com. We're an integrated customer support and bug tracking system and I think we would fit into your operation very well. We are a hosted solution, but we have done onsite implementations for larger clients.

"I just wish that the media would do a better job of educating people about what’s really going on instead of really polarizing the story and leaving out important details."

I absolutely agree, although it's politics which standardizes to Democrat and Republican. Each wouldn't dare to represent the opposing side, just due to the fact that it could potentioly hurt their own party. Sadly that's why I'm forced to watch Fox every evening, obviously there left wing scum, so as CNN to right wing scum. At least Fox will give democrats credit where credit is due at times.

I tend to agree with Brian. Even the worldview of a reporter who is trying to remain unbiased is still necessarily going to come through but it's as if the news outlets are not even making a cursory attempt at impartiality anymore. There is a reason that Walter Cronkite was referred to as "The Big Objective" (ok I just totally made that up) but my point is when news outlets assume the role of propagandists, the dissemination of information (shit, I'm turning into Al Sharpton) necessarily suffers.

There's a reason that Jon Stewart won "most trusted newscaster" in that Time magazine poll... With how much of a joke the news is, at least you can trust the guy who admits he's really just a comedian.

My complaint isn't the masking, it's sites that only allow 3 attempts but have heavily restricted what you can use for a password, so you end up using a password so far from what you usually use (system hopefully and not the same password everywhere) that you're locked out each and every time. I still can't figure out why there is any type of restriction on what I can use in a password outside of length. You think you are making my password stronger for me, but you're just reducing the number of options possible and therefore making my password weaker...

Any example has holes, sadly. But there's usually a reason an example is a common one, because it happens often enough. Regardless of what the example is, there are still plenty of people that don't always think about their security, and sometimes will view things like a password as an un-needed burden. This type of stuff is there for their protection.

What is even more impressive, there are some sites (such as my banks website) use the masking for the user-name to give the extra security.
